Description

This course is designed for family professionals, self-represented litigants and others without legal training who want to learn the fundamentals of Ontario family law.  It is an overview of relevant family law history, statutes, case law and practice. Its goal is to help those working in the family law realm, whether in mediation or in court, to ensure they are able to recognize the legal implications of settlement options and to understand basic legal rights and obligations in family law matters. The course is taught in a friendly, approachable way through lectures from leading family law lawyers, useful case studies and group discussion. E-Book included.
